Product Overview
In numerous industrial environments, oil and water mix and flow together. Prior to water reuse, treatment or discharge, oil must be separated and removed—and our oil-water separator is designed for this exact purpose.
Water first enters the inlet compartment to initiate oil separation: baffles reduce water flow velocity, making suspended solids settle out. It then moves to the separation chamber, where coalescing media blocks bind oil droplets in the water together, increasing their size until they separate from the water. This coalescing media effectively removes nearly all free and dispersed non-emulsified oils, and then meets the discharge requirements of most municipal sewer systems.
Our oil water separator efficiency can achieve up to 99%, effectively removing virtually all free and dispersed non-emulsified oils from the process fluid, and reducing the residual oil concentration in the effluent to below 6 ppm.
