1. ROPE MOP OIL SKIMMERS

This compact, reliable and easy-to-operate rope mop skimmer is engineered for small industrial applications such as sumps, basins, separators, tanks and other in-plant locations where tramp oil accumulates, featuring vertical recovery of floating oils with a maximum oil recovery rate of 100 gallons (300 liters) per hour. Equipped with two 3-inch diameter electrically powered rubber-coated squeegee rollers, the system drives an oil-attracting rope mop in a single loop that travels across the oil-contaminated surface; after the mop captures the oil, it is pulled back to the mop engine where the rollers squeeze the oil out, which then gravity-feeds through a 2-inch female pipefitting at the base of the unit to the separating tank—this configuration ensures that only pure oil is recovered while water is returned to the separator. In addition, a variable speed controller enables infinite adjustment of the mop’s travel speed to optimize the purity of the recovered oil, and the 2-inch pipefitting also serves as a convenient mounting component to fix the unit above the sump.
